Essential staff session

After a hotel user signs in, Supabase stores a session cookie so the dashboard can recognize that person. This cookie is required for authentication.

Essential guest session

A guest link sets an httpOnly cookie named gf_guest. It connects the browser to that guest’s stay. It is not used for advertising.

Hotel selection

If a staff member belongs to more than one hotel, a cookie named gf_hotel remembers the selected property. It is part of operating the account.

What is not used

GuestFly does not set Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other non-essential trackers unless a hotel later configures one. None is configured by default.

How to control cookies

Blocking essential cookies will prevent staff sign-in or the guest concierge from staying signed in. Browser controls can still delete them, which signs the person out.
